I'm Angie, owner of Autumn Breeze Design Studio in Menomonie, Wisconsin, where I make handmade laser cut and engraved gifts and home décor from wood, glass, tumblers and more.

Meet the maker

Crafting has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My grandma owned a craft and yarn store, and I painted ceramics for the fair as a kid. As a young adult, my mom cut wooden yard figures (snowmen, pumpkins, ghosts) and I painted them to sell. From there I turned old pallets, barn boards, wine bottles and jars into home décor.

In 2022 I bought my first laser so I could cut my own wooden letters, and it opened up a whole new world. Today Autumn Breeze Design Studio runs out of my home studio with four lasers for cutting, engraving, and even engraving inside glass.

Every piece is designed, cut, and finished by me and hand painted with my own two hands. Never mass produced. My hope is that whatever you take home makes you smile every time you see it.

What do you make?

Round door signs, porch leaners, shelf sitters for knick-knack décor, laser engraved tumblers, and engraved jewelry and dog tags. I also do inner engraving inside glass: trophies, portraits, and names in glass blocks, plus glass keychains and glass ornaments. Everything is laser cut or engraved and finished by hand in my studio in Menomonie, Wisconsin.

What sizes do your round door signs come in?

My round signs come in 18 inch, 16 inch, and 12 inch sizes. Need a different size? I can make them any size, so just ask.

What are your signs made of?

My round door signs and shelf sitters are made from Baltic birch wood. My porch leaners are made from pine board.

Will my sign hold up outside?

My outdoor signs are painted with outdoor house paint and outdoor spray paint, and sealed with a clear outdoor topcoat when needed, so they're made to handle the weather. They're still real wood, though, so over time they can show some natural wear.

Can I order something custom?

Yes! Custom orders are always welcome, whether it's a name, a date, a favorite color, or a different size. Send me a message and let's make it yours.
